Magazine Project
The project involved creating a magazine cover, two full-page spreads, and a one-page article, all designed independently. The magazine cover showcased a compelling image paired with a striking headline that encapsulated the theme of the issue. The two full-page spreads elaborated on the central topic, featuring dynamic layouts that combined visual elements and text for an engaging reader experience. Each spread utilized a cohesive color scheme and typography, enhancing the overall aesthetic. The one-page article served as a concise exploration of the subject, presenting information clearly and effectively. Overall, the project demonstrated skills in layout design, typography, and visual storytelling.
Poster Project
For this project, I was tasked with designing a poster on any subject of my choice, with the challenge of creating every element entirely from scratch using Adobe Illustrator. This meant no external images, fonts, or pre-made assets—every detail, from typography to illustrations and textures, had to be handcrafted.
Through this process, I explored composition, color theory, and vector-based design, refining my skills in digital illustration and layout. The project pushed me to think critically about visual storytelling, ensuring that each element worked cohesively to convey a clear and engaging message. Additionally, it strengthened my ability to work within the constraints of a single design tool, reinforcing the importance of precision and creativity in digital art.
The final poster not only showcased my technical proficiency in Illustrator but also demonstrated my ability to bring a concept to life through intentional design choices.
